I now have a full supply of onesies, booz and diabetes.

I now call this, The Important Things table. Which is the result of our baby bash/booz party.

I need to get on this nursery business.  Unless Plank Sauce is cool with living in the dining room.

And because I’m triple tired and 3rd trimester lazy. I’m taking the easy way out of this post and just showing you pictures from our shower/booz party. Word of advice to mom’s to be: don’t have any sort of shower at your house or you may risk going into labor 32 times over things like wind, christmas lights and jelly beans. I wish I was kidding.

Keep it clean ladies or I will shoot a rocket at you. You know I have a supply on hand.

Who remembers my internet bestie Texas Sarah? She came from TEXAS for the party. Like I always say, people like me better when they don’t really know me.

And now you feel like you were a guest at our shower. Smiles for you. I’ll now wait for your gift.

Thanks

MODG

Looks like you had an awesome shower and I love the decorations. The tree is so neat and I love the idea. Congrats hun.

Theresita October 21, 2010 at 8:29 am

It looks like you guys had an amazing time! I hope you got everything you need for Planktons arrival! I hoped to see more belly shots! You have to be the cutest preggo I’ve ever seen! How many days until Planky is here? Are you on coundown mode yet????

Mo October 21, 2010 at 8:31 am

Wow, this is gorgeous.

This is also why I let my mom plan my baby shower. I would rather have freezer snackies and old lady baby games than the heartburn and complete mental breakdown that I would have trying to do this myself.

Looks like you had fun :-)

(I LOVE the tree!)

Sara October 21, 2010 at 8:34 am

What a beautiful shower and such fun ideas. You are such a pretty preggo!

Rachel October 21, 2010 at 9:15 am

MichelleGawley October 21, 2010 at 9:23 am

Beautiful! You are such an amaze-ball, magical party planner extraordinaire. I love all the cute little touches like the tree and the baby pic.

You are going to make such a great Mom, I’m so excited for you!! And enjoy washing Plankton’s new clothes in Draft, it smells awesome, you’ll love it.

lilliebean October 21, 2010 at 9:34 am

You definitely win the Most Beautiful Baby Shower EVER award. I loved the craving table – definitely a neat idea!

On a side note, where did you get your blue hair extensions (if you still have them?)I need some.! :)

megan October 21, 2010 at 9:41 am

girl, you have super cute skinny preggo arms. the shower looked totes adorable. but yes…now that you are 3rd trimester-y….we’d like to see an update so we can be jealous of how cute you are. yes please!

*(did B purposely make you plan the shower on a weekend that psu didn’t play?)*

Jen @ Creating Chaos October 21, 2010 at 9:48 am

Best. Baby. Shower. Ever. Seriously, you should get paid to write this stuff. Where are all your sponsors?!?! If I ever get a baby shower in my honor I will direct them to you for instructions and inspiration (no copying though – that’s not cool!)

PeaceLoveTerri October 21, 2010 at 9:49 am

So beautiful!!
xoxoxo.

DoMo October 21, 2010 at 10:03 am

Fantastic & beautiful! You must be so freakin’ exhausted…

Gini October 21, 2010 at 10:08 am

Baby D, huh?? Commence speculations!

For realsies, your baby bash looks like it was FABULOUS. I want to be preg like stat!

ellie October 21, 2010 at 10:11 am

This looked like fantastic fun! I can only imagine how tired you are! Great idea on the craving station…it all looks good!

Mandi October 21, 2010 at 10:21 am

If the baby showers I were invited to were as much fun as yours appears to have been, I wouldn’t mind attending them so much!! Your centerpieces are so pretty and the photo with the tables and lanterns looks like something right out of a magazine. Lovely! Hope you got lots of things you’ll need and congrats again.

Sarah vL October 21, 2010 at 10:28 am

Your baby shower pictures looks like you stole a spread from Martha Stewart magazine! I love it!! Are you sure you don’t want to go back to the party-planning business? You are seriously very talented. I loved all the stations! And Plankton’s tree!! What an awesome idea. Also, did I catch that the baby’s first name is going to start with a D??? :)

As always, you looked so beautiful!!

MommyLisa October 21, 2010 at 10:59 am

Okay – you do not half-ass ANYTHING! Plankton is going to come out knowing all the lyrics to Brittany Spears songs and with the knowledge that he better avoid Suri and date Zahara or Vivienne instead. ;) Maybe Apple.

Erin October 21, 2010 at 10:59 am

I’m thinking you guys are going to have a beautiful child. And I don’t tell many people that.

Sarah RDH October 21, 2010 at 11:16 am

That is the coolest looking baby shower ever! I LOVE Plankton’s tree! That is such a great idea!

Julialifeisart October 21, 2010 at 12:15 pm

Love the party decorations!

Mommyneedsacocktail October 21, 2010 at 12:16 pm

Okay, waiting for internet stalking crazy bride come out of the woodwork and imitate your shower….

Teisha October 21, 2010 at 12:36 pm

Good job at throwing yourself an awesome party! The decorations and shizz were fab.

Ashley October 21, 2010 at 12:48 pm

Just FYI, five years from now, when you see extremely adorable Spring version pictures of this shower, it will be me.

Just kidding! I’m just jealous your shower was so much cooler than any I’ve every gone to. Glad you had fun…hope you got everything you need! And seriously, get the nursery done. My cousin went into labor two weeks early this summer and I had to finish her nursery for her while she was in the hospital. So there’s your motivational kick in the ass today. You’re welcome.

Becky Mochaface October 21, 2010 at 2:02 pm

That spread looks amazing. And I now sit and type in awe of your clear awesomeness of pulling together a spread like that. While the Plankster plays Chopsticks on your ribs.

Shandal October 21, 2010 at 2:40 pm

You have some mad party planning skills girl. So creative and totally A list worthy. You should really reconsider being a party planner. That could make you famous for sure! Just think, you guys could move to CA and plan celeb parties! One step closer to play dates with Suri and Shiloh too!

Ally October 21, 2010 at 2:54 pm

Ummm, it looks pretty damn awesome. Like you, obviously. Love the DILF shirt–hilarious!

Tiff October 21, 2010 at 2:56 pm

LOVE the tree! Gotta be honest, probably stealing that idea! :)

Melanie October 21, 2010 at 3:17 pm

MODG, what do you do for a living? If it is not party planning, then I am sorely disappointed in your career choice.

Tee aka The Diva's Thoughts October 21, 2010 at 3:37 pm

I love that D.I.L.F shirt! lol Priceless.

Nezzy October 21, 2010 at 4:18 pm

You look marvelous girl! Thanks so much for lettin’ us hang out at your shower. Love the Dad shirt!!! It looked like your party was a true hit!!!

Ya’ll have a magnificently blessed and beautiful ‘fall’ day!!! :o )

katelin October 21, 2010 at 6:58 pm

seriously your shower is too freaking cute, i love it and i wouldn’t have expected anything less.

also that first picture, ridiculous and amazing all at once.

Anna October 21, 2010 at 7:51 pm

That looks like an awesome party. Love the family tree!

Desiree October 21, 2010 at 7:52 pm

That party looks totally rockin’. How did you come up with the thumb print tree? Brilliant!

*LLUVIA* October 21, 2010 at 8:30 pm

Love the print tree! Cool baby shower!! It looks so perfectly planned and original. Love the craving table.
I did not buy anything for the baby until after my baby shower. I had two and one had a money tree because it was out of town and i would not be able to bring gifts with me. Thank you cards were easy for those.

Candice October 21, 2010 at 8:33 pm

What an adorable looking, fun, and non-lame looking baby shower!

Those snacks look delish! Nom Nom Nom

Stephanie October 21, 2010 at 8:43 pm

you know how that girl copied your wedding identically? you may see identical pictures of your baby shower on the internet next year…. love it!

Betty October 21, 2010 at 10:14 pm

i told you already my baby girl has a fetus crush on Plank…can they become internet besties so i can get in on those fabulous parties you plan?? That looks like funnest shower ever–equally cute and hilarious! seriously, how do you not do that for a living?? You’re gonna be the coolest mom on the block. i wish i could hire you to come to NYC and plan my post-baby/housewarming party this winter, and also help me plan out a nursery.

Deena October 22, 2010 at 8:45 am

But the important question is how was the liquor? I mean what did your guests think?

Bailey@peppermintbliss.com October 22, 2010 at 11:51 am

You have super magic party skills. And you better watch it or someone may copy every single detail of your shower too…but this time it might be me. And I would at least admit to it, which is something I think.

Rachel @ It's a Hero October 22, 2010 at 12:44 pm

Dude. Your party looks awesome. AWESOME.

jimaie.marie October 22, 2010 at 10:58 pm

Wow. That is legitimately the most awesome baby shower ever. The details are so beautiful!! You guys have an amazing backyard too. I love the DILF shirt, hahah!! That is hilarious.

The Only Girl October 23, 2010 at 12:17 am

Awesome bash. Great job. Thanks for having us!

I’d love to see a picture of the finished “leaf” tree – that’s a wonderful idea.

hotpants™ October 23, 2010 at 12:42 pm

Look how happy he is with his DILF shirt. Hilarious!

And I love the family tree idea. I’m surprised you shared this though. Creepy wedding stalker girl is totally going to copy this when she has a baby.

Paula October 24, 2010 at 2:25 pm

I somehow completely misread the bit at the end (too much rose wine perhaps) and thought you said now we would feel like we had been GHOSTS at your shower, and i was all ready to be a smart-ass and go “woooooooooo” like i was a ghost. Luckily I realised just in time that it said “guest”. But I felt like I should share anyway. Cos I am ALL about the sharing. :)

Chrystal October 26, 2010 at 10:19 am

First off I suck for coming around here more and on a more important note… you are gorgeous and planks shower was beautiful.

Chrystal October 26, 2010 at 10:20 am

AND THATS SUPPOSE TO BE NOT COMING AROUND HERE MORE.

kelly @Dare to be Domestic October 26, 2010 at 5:47 pm

Best. idea. ever! I love that it’s a joint shower – I always hate that they are all “PINK AND BLUE AND LADIES CHATTING ABOUT B.S. AND MAKING YOU EAT NASTY BABY FOOD GAMES”… this looks like a great time and I love all the fun stations.

Finally YAY to seeing Texas Sarah! I wondered how she was her blog has been quiet!

You look like you had a blast and look adorbs!

Suburban H.I.T. October 27, 2010 at 1:37 pm

Let’s keep it real, I’m totally stealing some facsimile of this shower idea whenever my bestie has her first babe.
