Gavin was born in a dramatic fashion at 9pm last night weighing in at 8lbs4oz. I will have the full birth story for you in the next week. I’m in the hospital recovering for a few days but I know you all were shitting yourselves in anticipation for an update. We are all doing great and all 3 of us appreciate your internet love and support.

Congratulations! So glad to hear that you’re all okay. At 40+ hours of labor, 8+ lbs, and a “dramatic” arrival, I’m guessing either a C-section or mega-forceps also made an appearance. And maybe some meconium, pre-delivery, just to add color to the visceral stew….I think B owes you a *lot* of Loubs.

So thrilled for you!! My first son was a planned natural birth that started with broken water and ended in a CS (At Bryn Mawr hosp!) 24 hours or so later. I’m telling you, those PROM births are a total bitch. He is absolutely beautiful, many congrats to you and enjoy this beautiful, magical time of falling head over in heels in love!
