There are seriously no words. And I always have words. Usually dumb ones.
There are more people offering to help than people who are asking for help. That has pretty much restored my faith in humanity. Well, restored my faith in MODG readers. Sames.
I think people in general, really do want to help others, we just don’t know how. And it’s really nice to be able to help an actual family. Donating to charities is a super great thing. But it’s nice to know who you’re helping and how you’re helping them. I think this is doing that. And I’m so proud of you all for coming together like this.
I promise we will keep going with this. Eventually we will fill up the comments section in this post and I’ll create another. But for now, for this to continue being successful, I NEED you to follow these instructions:
When you post a need. Please put this at the top of your post **IN NEED** (with the stars). It’s become so hard to navigate through all of the comments and we need to be able to quickly find who needs help.
The best way to help is to reply directly to the person who needs help in the comments. Just click “reply” and offer what you can and a way to get in touch with each other.
If you REALLY don’t want to play by the rules and you have something to offer, put **TO GIVE** at the top of your post and your contact info. However, I’d prefer if you could offer your gift to someone directly. But I get that some people can’t read through everything.
I’ve recruited 2 volunteers to help facilitate connections. Look for comments from Alex and Ashley who will be helping out team WANA.
