The mammogram/ultrasound results are in. Just a fluid filled cyst…normal and goes away on it’s own. Or doesn’t. But it’s ok because fluid filled cysts are the marshmallow rainbow candy canes of boob guts. That is, compared to the other stuff that it could have been i.e not rainbow things.

THAT MEANS I’M TOTALLY SUPER FINE EVERYONE.

HOORAY.

Dudes, when I tell you it’s been the worst 3 days of my life…well I guess I’m sort of exaggerating but man do I have stories to tell. G was in the hospital for Croup and possible pneumonia. And then they sat me next to the BIBLE at the radiologist.

We have a lot to discuss, but first I wanted to tell you the good news and also how much all of your comments meant to me. It seriously got me through the waiting period between not knowing and knowing. 3 cheers for oversharing with the internet.

But seriously, thank you.

xoxo

Am I the only one slightly disturbed by the fact that you aren’t wearing any pants in the drawing?

Seriously though, congrats! I found a lump in my breast one day and was TERRIFIED. My mom has had to have several lumps removed so I do have a family history. Turns out I had FIVE lumps, 2 in one and 3 in the other. Luckily it was nothing, so I know how you’re feeling, a huge ole wave of relief. So glad it was nothing!

I don’t know what I would have done if something was wrong with the rockin MODG. I’m sorry G has been feeling so badly lately, hopefully thats starting to calm down as well. Are you guys doing the, sit in the bathroom while theres a super steamy shower going thing? That always made my little cousin feel better and stop coughing. Breathing a sigh of relief in KY today.

So effing relieved! I couldn’t even comment on your scare post, and my ass always has something to say! What?!

Squeeze those girls and tell ‘em you love ‘em and to stop scaring you and us. K, thanks.
Lot’s of positive energy-laser-vibes to G and his icky croupe. I make herbal throat coat tea for my brat (Steep, then cool, then sippy cup) and it seems to help soothe her enough to not hack for an hour straight.

Hooray for sparkles boobs! Tell your hubs that January has been so hard that in order to face February you will be needing a fancy vacation. (This actually worked for me.) Hug that croupy baby and sparkle on.

Modg, I was captain of the cheerleading squad in highschool (I usually don’t tell people this – it doesn’t go with my ‘image’ now – but we are doing internet oversharing, right?) and I am bustin out some righteous kick and yells. Also I’m super sad about G – nothing is worse than sick a sick baby – on top of wondering if the proverbial bus is hitting you right now. As usual, way too long way of saying something when “YAY!” would have done a fine job. Get well, G!

Katie January 25, 2012 at 12:54 pm

Beyond glad to hear the news! I have never commented on a blog ever, but as a regular reader I could not stop thinking about your scare. I live in fear of the c word and hearing about your situation I felt like it was happening to a friend and not just some near stranger out in the interwebs. Now go hug and kiss that baby! Just maybe not on the mouth if he’s got pneumonia. I also expect a Tracy Anderson inspired celebration dance.

Hooray modg boobs!

Now I have to ask… Did you make the sun/cloud/rainbow portion of the drawing above IN paint?

If so, wtf? That’s like.. Unbelievable!

If not, the stick figure is still pretty good :)

HURRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR BOOBIES!!! I’m so glad you’re OK. I’m preparing for my first doctors visit in about 8 years… YES you read that right. I’m so freaked out. I’ve been lazy and stupid all these years not going. I hope I didn’t screw myself.

I’m really happy it wasn’t anything bad. :) Can’t wait to hear your stories and I hope G is feeling better! ox

I am so glad to hear that, MOGD!

I hope G is feeling better now. Have you had to do running the steamy shower? H had to spend the night in the hospital when he was 9 months old when he developed secondary pneumonia after he got RSV. That was TERRIBLE. Didn’t help any that he gave the RSV to me too.
